Healthy Valentine’s Gifts

Valentine’s Day is a wonderful time to show someone special how much they really mean to you. But it doesn’t have to be all about champagne and chocolates!

Here’s our top 5 Healthy Valentine’s Gift ideas

  1. Book a romantic couples massage

How about booking a relaxing massage – a great way to unwind and de-stress. Enjoy the fluffy robes and slippers and make sure you book a couples massage for some extra romance!

  1. Take your partner to a local cooking class

Cooking at home is an excellent way to control what and how much you eat. Take your partner to a local cooking class to learn some new techniques. Check out your local area to see if there are any ‘clean eating’ classes available. By eating foods that are fresh and from their natural source, you can feel better, look better, and most definitely have more energy!

  1. Pack a picnic for the park

Instead of a predictable restaurant dinner, opt for something more personal. Pack a picnic and spend some time outdoors with your partner. If you live in Brisbane, spoil yourself and order a yummy picnic from Swallows and Amazons Vintage Style picnics. And don’t forget to finish your outing with a long relaxing walk.

  1. Make up a workout play list

Find out your partner’s favourite music and make up a workout play list. Make sure you choose some uplifting and romantic songs that are sure to get the heart rate up. For an extra special surprise load it onto their iPod without them noticing until V day!

  1. Choose a fresh fruit bouquet

Swap the flowers for fruit with a gorgeous bouquet of fresh fruit blooms. Make your own floral arrangement using cookie cutters to cut the fruit into different shapes and wooden skewers arranged in a vase. Don’t forget to add a watermelon heart!
